Nov 25, 2020 Finally, we also included an iPad simulator that can help you run iOS apps and games on PC, which is the iPadian. This simulator allows you to run iOS apps and games on a Windows PC platform. Even though you cannot access the iOS App Store, you can still run and open various apps including Spotify, Facebook, WhatsApp, as well as your favorite. In 2017, Apple made the iWork available for free for its computers and devices. It opened the door for a lot of users. If you use both Mac and Windows computers at home and work, you may need to open Apple pages files on your Windows PC.
There are lots of great iOS apps which don't have a desktop equivalent. Snapchat is one of the most high profile examples, but there are plenty that have no functionality on the web.
That can be frustrating, particularly if you'd like to make use of a larger PC or laptop screen to play your favourite iPhone app or game.
This isn't a feature that's officially offered by Microsoft or Apple, although there is a potential workaround that may get it to work.
iPadian cannot run iOS apps
If you’re trying to work out how to run iOS apps on a Windows PC or laptop, you’ve probably discovered there’s an app called iPadian.
By the developer’s own admission, this is a simulator, not an emulator, so it cannot run iOS apps. It merely gives you a feel for what iOS is like - in case you can’t look at a friend’s iPad or walk into an Apple store - but it doesn’t even do that very well so don’t bother installing it. And certainly don't pay $20 for it.
The simple fact is that there is no emulator for iOS that you can run in Windows, and that’s why you can’t have your favourite use the likes of iMessage or FaceTime on your PC or laptop. It just isn’t possible.
However, if your reason for wanting to run iOS apps was because you want to play a game or another app which isn’t exclusive to iOS, there might be a solution.
Bluestacks is your best option
Bluestacks is an Android emulator which runs on Windows and allows you to install and run games and other Android apps, so you might be able to do it that way.
We’ve got a separate tutorial explaining the various ways to get Android apps running in Windows. And although you probably want to run the game on Windows, it's worth remembering that many of the latest Chromebooks run Android apps natively, so no extra software is required.
If that doesn’t solve your problem then, unfortunately, you may have to buy an iPhone or iPad as these are the only devices which run iOS.
Some Apple software applications have direct counterparts in the PC world, such as Apple's Pages word processor and Microsoft Word. Others, such as iMovie and Garage Band, do not. If you need to use one of these applications but do not have a Mac computer, you can run them on PC hardware.
1
Insert the installation disc or download a virtualization application to your PC. Several options are available: VMWare, an enterprise-level product, is the best known, and it is well supported. PearPC is an open source option that is best for users who are comfortable modifying configuration files and other low-level technical parameters. VirtualBox is another enterprise level product; it gives you the ability to run Apple's Mac OSX Snow Leopard Server on a PC.
2
Run the installation wizard if you have chosen VMWare or VirtualBox. Follow the prompts to create a new partition on your hard drive for Mac OSX and configure the virtualization software.
3
Follow the detailed instructions on the PearPC website (link in Resources) if you have decided to use that virtualization program. Like the software, the installation procedures are geared to the experienced user.
1
Insert your Mac OSX boot disk in the optical drive. Start the virtual machine.
2
Follow the on-screen prompts to install Mac OSX in the virtual machine, just as you would on a Mac computer.
3
How To Run Apple Apps On Pc Windows 10

Warnings
- Do not attempt to run virtualization software on an older PC with minimal RAM or hard drive space -- the virtualization software, Mac OSX and Apple apps may install, but they will run very slowly. Review the system requirements for your chosen virtualization software.
